How Smart Hosting works

One reservation.
Multiple actions.

Smart Hosting is designed to turn reservation timing into a simple operational workflow — so the repetitive steps around a stay don't have to be managed one by one.

01

Reservation enters the system

Smart Hosting reads supported iCal reservation feeds from platforms such as Airbnb, VRBO and Booking.com.

02

Reservation data is normalized

Incoming reservation information is normalized and checked for duplicates so the automation layer works from a consistent booking record.

03

The reservation becomes a trigger

Check-in and checkout timing determine when property workflows need to run. The system checks the booking state before taking action.

04

Access workflow runs

The current Schlage workflow can generate or manage guest access information according to the reservation timeline, with a manual PIN path available as well.

05

People receive operational information

Email notifications can keep hosts, co-hosts, property managers and cleaners informed. SMS notifications are planned for a future release.

06

More property automation follows

Honeywell thermostat automation, a dashboard and payments are planned additions as Smart Hosting evolves.

A closer look

From calendar feed to property action.

The goal is not another dashboard you have to constantly watch. The goal is a reliable chain of events that starts with the reservation.

Automation should feel invisible.

Smart Hosting is being built to handle the repetitive operational steps while keeping you informed when your attention is actually needed.
